Directory · Reference Library

A directory of the places worth knowing. And a shelf of the reading worth keeping.

Two things in one quiet home: verified profiles for the businesses around you, and a working library of guides and reports written to be read and re-read.

What this is

Two rooms in one quiet building — the directory and the library.

One side is a directory: verified profiles for the businesses, studios, and workshops around you, laid out with the details you actually need to reach them.

The other side is a reference library: guides, reports, and primers written to be read carefully, then downloaded and kept.

The two rooms are connected on purpose — the places you meet in the directory often show up again in the reading, and vice versa.

At a glance

What you can expect from the shelf.

  • 01

Verified profiles with location, contact, and hours in one clear card.

  • 02

A working library of guides, reports, and primers you can download.

  • 03

Search that reaches into both the directory and the library at once.

  • 04

A quiet, cream-and-ink editorial layout that respects your attention.

Why this exists

A quiet promise about the shelf.

Reviewed by hand

Every listing and every reference on the shelf is added, read, and checked by a person. Nothing here is auto-scraped.

Two rooms, one search

Look up a business, a report, a topic, a category — the results reach into both rooms at once.

Built to be re-read

The library standard: written for the shelf, not the feed. That is why entries stay useful for years.

Questions

Small answers,
before you dig in.

The things we hear most often. Have another? Write to us.

What is here — a directory or a library?+

Both. The directory is a room of verified local business profiles. The library is a room of downloadable guides and reports. They share a search bar and a visual language.

Is the reference material free to download?+

Yes. Every entry in the library is a real reference — you can read it on the page and download the file to keep.

How does something get listed?+

Submit an entry through the submission workspace. Every profile and every reference is reviewed by a person before it goes on the shelf.

Do you sell placement or ads inside entries?+

No. The shelf order is editorial. Ad slots are labelled and kept out of the entry body itself.

Add your entry

List a place. Add a reference. Bring something worth keeping to the shelf.

Submit a business for the directory or a report for the library. Both are moderated by hand and both stay useful for years.
